This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using the Eriva Labs platform, including our website, educational content, interactive simulations, and related services.
By accessing or using Eriva Labs, you agree to comply with this AUP. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Core Principles
Eriva Labs is an educational platform designed to foster learning, technical skill development, and exploration in a safe and reliable environment. We expect all users to interact with our platform and other users respectfully and lawfully.
2. Prohibited Activities
You are strictly prohibited from using Eriva Labs to engage in any of the following activities:
A. Illegal or Harmful Conduct
- Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Engaging in activities that are fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
- Distributing malware, viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other harmful or destructive code.
B. Platform Abuse and Interference
- Account Sharing: Sharing your account credentials with individuals who have not purchased a subscription or seat. Eriva Labs accounts are for individual use only unless a team license is explicitly purchased.
- Scraping and Automation: Using spiders, scrapers, bots, or other automated means to access, scrape, extract, or download content, code, or data from the platform without our express written permission.
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of the Eriva Labs platform or simulations.
- Load Testing / DoS: Imposing an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or attempting a Denial of Service (DoS) attack against our servers or the simulated environments.
- Bypassing Security: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system or network, or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization.
C. Intellectual Property & Simulation Creator Abuse
- Unauthorized Content: Providing content to the "Simulation Creator" (including but not limited to YouTube links, personal documents, or text) that you do not have the legal right or permission to use.
- Infringement: Uploading or sharing any content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets of others.
- Redistribution: Reproducing, distributing, publicly displaying, or creating derivative works of Eriva Labs content, lesson texts, or simulation code without authorization.
3. Conduct in Interactive Simulations
Eriva Labs provides interactive simulations rendered within isolated sandbox environments (such as secure web iframes). You agree to interact with these environments strictly for their intended educational purposes.
You may not use or manipulate the provided simulation environments to:
- Attempt to exploit, inject malicious scripts (e.g., Cross-Site Scripting), or manipulate the underlying code or DOM of the simulations.
- Attempt to bypass or break out of the sandbox restrictions to access unauthorized data, interact with underlying host systems, or disrupt the platform.
Note: Any attempt to exploit or weaponize the simulation environments will result in immediate, permanent account termination.
4. Enforcement and Penalties
We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to investigate any violation of this AUP or misuse of the Services.
If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this AUP, we may take any of the following actions without prior notice or liability:
- Issue a warning.
- Temporarily suspend your access to the platform.
- Permanently terminate your account.
- Refuse any future refunds.
- Report the activity to appropriate law enforcement agencies or regulatory authorities.
5. Reporting Violations

Email: [email protected]
6. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this AUP at any time by posting a revised version on the website. By continuing to use the Services, you agree to the latest version of this AUP.
